The lottery products

The National Lottery holds the monopoly in Belgium on organizing public lotteries. The King lays down the general rules. The lottery products from the National Lottery consist of draw games and scratch card games.

Lotto is the most popular draw game of the National Lottery and had a 40.30% share of all lottery product sales in 2011. Euro Millions came in second place with a 34.70% share of sales and Joker came third with 5.7%.

Since 2010 all National Lottery draws have also been available online.

Scratch-card games jointly accounted for 17.70% of all lottery products sold in 2011. Win for Life is the most popular scratch card game.
